The Austin Town Hall Farmers Market is an outdoor open-air farmers market. We invite you to come and spend an afternoon with us.

  • Reusable Cloth or Food Grade bags are welcome.

  • Grab some lunch from one of our food vendors and take a seat to enjoy your meal or snack in the park.

  • Listen to one of the live entertainers.

  • Learn from our professional chefs during a cooking demonstration.

  • Get a Chair or Table Massage

  • Let your children hang in the Kid Zone.

Meet Our Resident Massage Therapist

We are super excited to have Ray Williams from SkyLight Body Therapy join us this season. Ray is a Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).

He and his team will be in the park 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Stretch and Mediation will also be offered every day at 3 pm - 3:30 pm

Cooking Demonstrations

Calling all Licensed and Insured Cooks / Chefs we would love to have you become one of our teaching chefs. Come and teach the community how to cook something delicious.

What We Ask

  • 30-minute culinary demonstration followed by a 15-30 minute Q&A period

  • Prepare approximately 25 tasting portions to sample

  • Provide written recipe before the demo to aid in promotions

  • Bring knives, pans, and any other equipment or personnel you need to complete your demonstration. 

What We Provide

  • $250 stipend

  • A tented demonstration area with a table and plates/bowls/utensils for sampling

  • Digital media mentions across our community members

Garfield Park Conservatory - Envisions a world where people embrace and honor the importance of nature.

Illinois Network for Pretrial Justice - The Illinois Network for Pretrial Justice serves to connect organizations working to reduce pretrial incarceration in Illinois and, more broadly, to end mass incarceration and address the root causes of socio-economic and racial inequity in our legal system.

Leaders Network Financial Credit Union - The Leaders Network has partnered with Great Lakes Credit Union to increase access to financial services and funding for the residents of Chicago’s Austin community and surrounding areas.

Link Up IL - Aims to increase the affordability and accessibility of fresh foods by doubling the value of Link or SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) purchases at farmers markets, farm stands, food co-ops, and independent grocery and corner stores across Illinois.

Oak Street Health -  Oak St. Health specializes in providing care for older adults. Community members can speak with a team member to learn more about how to get connected to dedicated doctors and care team members who can assist with their individual health needs and insurance paperwork.
